The following picture shows the Hyperthermia treatment set up, using a microwave machine [ Celsion Corporation (former Cheung Laboratories), System 100 ], on the Inflammatory Breast Cancer, Case II patient.
The Hyperthermia machine uses microwave energy (915 MHz) to heat the treated area, and keep the temperature at about 42.5ºC (108.5ºF).
